Partecipanti: Dr. Cairo’s biosketch, Stefano Cairo is a molecular biologist with a Ph.D. in Human Genetics (2004). He is currently Head of the Research and Development department at XenTech, a French biotech created in 2006 as spin-off of Institut Curie and specialized in preclinical oncology research and services., His current research is focused on the development and improvement of preclinical in vitro and in vivo tumor models to allow the identification of novel therapeutic strategies as well as the repositioning of current treatments through the identification of biomarkers predictive of tumor response to treatment, with particular focus on triple negative breast cancer and pediatric liver tumors.
