Complex Diseases

Applying the diagnostic techniques available today for the diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of the principal inflammatory diseases of the skoin with the goal of improving patients’ prognosis and quality of life.

Scope of Research:


Dermatomyositis, Lichen planus, Lupus erythematosis, Darier Disease, Grover’s Disease, Morphea, Panniculitis, Granulomatous Diseases, Pyoderma gangrenosum, amicrobic pustolosis, systemic schleroderma.

 

The clinic is dedicated to taking on patients seen as complex cases, due to the difficulty of determining a precise clinical diagnosis and treatment approach.

The patients may be referred by other dermatological colleagues or other specialists who are already seeing the patient for another pathology (e.g., cutaneous manifestations in gastroenterologic patients).

In this clinic, the patient’s dermatological pathology is evaluated both as a primary pathology and as a comorbidity of a previously defined diagnosis.

We specifically collaborate with Prof. Gionchetti of Gastroenterology of our Polyclinic.
